Mukurtu CMS is managed by the Center for Digital Scholarship and Curation at Washington State University. Mukurtu CMS, Mukurtu Support resources, and all materials on mukurtu.org are distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 3 (or "GPLv3"), which means anyone is free to download and share them with others. Mukurtu is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the National Science Foundation.

The Washington State University Pullman campus is located on the homelands of the Nimíipuu (Nez Perce) Tribe and the Palus people. We acknowledge their presence here since time immemorial and recognize their continuing connection to the land, to the water, and to their ancestors.
