About the Mukurtu dictionary

Setting up the Mukurtu Dictionary requires a few steps that must follow a specific order (each of the steps below is linked to a support article that will walk you through the process):

  1. Enable the Dictionary
    • Done once, site-wide
  2. Add a Language
    • Must be done once for each Language
    • If you have entered any languages in the Language field of a Digital Heritage Item, they will already be added and this step is not required.
  3. Create a Language Community
  4. Create Dictionary Words and word entries
  5. Create Word Lists
